Charlie Chaplin's Blog on Women

Oona O'Neill (Now Oona Chaplin)
06.16.1943

I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while, but that’s because of two things. First of all that Barry is driving me insane with her fallacious claims of me having a child with her and bringing it to court and all that. I’m sure you guys have heard enough of that from the media, so I won’t drone on about that. But the more important event is that I’ve met yet another girl. I know what you’re probably thinking by now, but no, Oona is different. She’s not drop-dead gorgeous like the others I’ve talked about, but she’s definitely nowhere near unattractive. But beyond that, I find her intellect the basis of her charm. She has a great sense of humor and the thing that amazes me is that she can understand anyone’s point of view without bias, even at 18. Yes, you heard me right. 18. At first I had my doubts about our age difference as well, but I overcame them as I got to know her and saw that she was much more mature at 18 than any woman I’ve met before. Today was our wedding day and this one I’m absolutely sure about. I know that we’ll overcome anything and I actually feel that this marriage was meant to be. Unfortunately, that means I won’t be posting here as often since Oona is now the only woman in my life. I’m sorry to disappoint all of you that have been following my journey through life with various different women, but that must come to an end. I may still post occasionally, but don’t count on it. Farewell.

This nutter is insane. At first she was decent and everything. She has the looks, but definitely not the brains. I understand being infatuated with someone, I know I’ve been through it a lot, but this is far beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. I mean, this girl would probably follow me to the bathroom if she knew where and when I was going. She was waiting in front of my hotel in a different country than I met her in! I’m getting pretty tired of this, if I see her again she’s definitely getting a call from my lawyers.

Married? I think not.

Would you guys please settle down on the rumors of me and Paulette getting married? Some blithering idiot started this rumor and now it seems to have spread to every corner of the world.

Paulette Goddard

So I’ve been seeing this fair lady for a while, and today I finally got her to come back to my house here at the LA Athletic Club. And well, I won’t go into details from there, but I would like to amplify the elegance of this woman. I mean, out of the thousands upon thousands of women that auditioned for this part I hired her immediately after seeing her performance. She’s quite a woman as well, if you know what I mean.

Don’t let the ones with the captivating smiles and the amazing bodies fool you. They’re all backstabbing little vixens in the end. I thought we had something going those few months in England, and then she turned to my brother Syd. I’m disgusted. I really should pick my affairs more carefully and stop letting their apparently naive attractiveness blind me.

She’s a wonderful girl, really. She’s pretty, intelligent, funny, everything I could hope for. But I’m just so busy with The Gold Rush now that I just don’t have the time for her… I wish this film was done and over with so I could be with her. Oh well, back to the grind for me.

Lita Grey

Who would’ve thought that I’d fall in love with the lead in my latest film, The Gold Rush? Sure she may be a little bit younger than me at 16, but love doesn’t discriminate with age. I’ve heard the whisperings around the studio as well, and it gets annoying after a while. What does it matter to them who I’m romantically involved with? Anyway, besides that point, back to my Lita. My leads are always chosen for their beauty; in fact it’s a basic requirement to be in one of my films. I saw something different in her audition though, she could play the part of a tantalizing vixen or an innocent little girl. Maybe it’s that variety that attracts me.

Hot DAMN this lady was FINE! The dress she wore today complemented her body so well, conforming to all of her curves. She definitely doesn’t have a lack of those, either. No doubt about it, I would marry this girl in an instant. She’s an exotic one too! All the way from Poland. I can’t help but hope we get engaged and married as soon as possible!

Thank you, thank you for all of your congratulations those of you who were at the wedding. And if you weren’t there, yes you’ve heard right! My impeccable charm has finally paid off, and this girl was quite the catch. I truly am happy about this marriage, but I’m just not sure if she’s the one. She’s a great girl, really great to look at, but now that I’ve committed to life with her, I’m not so sure anymore.

I come to you with a renewed sense of vitality. This girl is indescribable. I have a picture to go with this blog just to describe her looks, but honestly she is so much more than that. I’ve spent my teenage years dreaming only of beauties, not caring if they’re absolute bitches or not. But from the very first film I worked with her on, there was just something there. We could practically read each other’s minds and as a result our films together turned out wonderfully. I admit, I couldn’t help but stare as she elegantly moved for the camera today. She portrayed every emotion so gracefully She’s just so… perfect.

She… rejected… me? I can’t believe it. How is this life worth living without her in it? –sigh–.

At the ripe age of nineteen I have fallen in love. I saw her on the stage of the London music hall, and instantly I knew she was the one. There is only one word I can use to describe her—gorgeous. Her feet flew across the stage as she performed intricacies with her feet that I have never seen the likes of before. Oh and her eyes, how mesmerizing those deep pools of amber were. I have known of her for only a day but I want her to marry me! I need her! I cannot resist her any longer… yes I have made up my mind. I will ask her to meet and marry me next weekend. I can’t wait! I really do hope she accepts…

My First Post!

"Elsewhere I have said that sex will be mentioned but not stressed, as I can add nothing new to the subject. However, procreation is nature's principal occupation, and every man, whether he be young or old, when meeting every woman measures the potentiality of sex between them. Thus it has always been with me."

That is a quote by yours truly, Charlie Chaplin, and I think it’s the perfect one to start off this blog. Beautiful women have forever been sought after by men, most of the time for their appearance. I admit my comrades that I am no different from the rest of you, and love a good-looking woman myself. I’ve traveled to many a place and seen many traditionally beautiful women as well as exotically alluring women. Here I will inscribe my various shenanigans with the female race and keep you posted.
